Sure enough… 3:30 this morning.  Figured some of you might have guessed, as I didn’t write a post this morning. A beautiful, healthy birth.  More to follow… In the meanwhile, the SNOW keeps falling, and mama and baby are safe and warm and dry in the hay shed.

  1. Woohoo! Another little treasure! Congratulations!

  2. Little ones of any species are so precious. Congratulations to you and Willow.

  3. Gin,

Congratulations! These times are the joys of life. I know that you treasure them. The snow just adds to the pleasure, since you know it is like a Dallas, Texas snow – here today, gone tomorrow.

What beauty in your photos. Thanks for sharing.

Although on a smaller scale, yesterday I checked a Purple Martin nest we have, and five little ones were just hatched and begging for fresh grub. Mom and Dad Martin are working hard.

  4. Yes, we definitely knew there were exciting things going on since you were delayed in posting! He’s a beauty! And so is the snow…low 90’s and very humid here today.

  5. What a beautiful pic of a beautiful boy!

  6. Congrats Gin!!! I’m sure it helps with the sorrow that preceded this little one. I can’t believe you have more snow! It won’t quit raining here in Maryland. It has been so wet and I am so tired of nothing but gray skies. It seems like we get in weather patterns…and this one is rain for a week, sun for the weekend. It’s good for those that have a 9-5 job in a box but for me I’d like to get some work done during my m-f workweek at home. Come on sun, please shine!!! 😀

  7. Congratulations Gin… beautiful and exciting times!

  8. Thank you all. I must say, it’s even more exciting when we can share it. Thank you for letting me.

  9. Oh wow! Thank you for sharing with us. best wishes to mom (horse and human) and cute baby!!
